Furukawa Rock Drill has released an additional tophammer crawler drill model for the European market. This machine compliments the HCR1400-ED, HCR1450-ED and hCR1600-ED machines launched in 2014. The new addition is called HCR1100-ED and is intended for smaller quarries and civil works applications.
The machine is equipped with a Tier4 final (Stage 4) Cummins engine and drifter power has been increased from 14.2kW to 18kW.
In addition to component changes, the interior of the machine has also been updated to have a more modern look and feel, therefore the machine looks similar to the bigger Furukawa machines. Operators who are used to operating the bigger units will feel right at home inside the cabin of this machine.
As with all Furukawa machines, this one comes standard with Furukawa’s famous quality and reliability. If high machine availability, ease of use and low cost of operation are high on your agenda, then look no further for a small crawler drill.
